- There was no election for Board directors in 2023 as there were just three candidates for the three places arising from the end of three-year terms. They will serve from 2023 to 2026.

+ The meeting will begin with his presentation followed by a Q&A.
+ Some of you may have met Stuart Ratliffe-Jones if you attended one of the East West Rail public engagement events and may well recognise him (if not the ‘-Jones’ suffix) when he was a reporter for BBC Look East. The proposed scheme has been refined after several rounds of consultation and is nearly ready to apply for a Development Consent Order. This will be a great chance to learn more about the EWR plans, and the dramatic changes to Cambridge ’Central’ station to support the new services, which includes platform extensions, a new platform and an eastern entrance. After his presentation, there will be a break for refreshments and then a chance to hear the latest news of Railfuture’s campaigns and a chance to chat with us and others.

- Ivybridge (between Plymouth and Totnes) opened in July 1994 but its 104m-long platforms are inadequate for today's Cross Country Voyagers and Great Western's IETs when in 5-car formation (although the IETs have selective door opening). See local MP's August 2026 news and September's report in The Moorlander including Railfuture's backing. Also coverage in the South Hams Gazette.
